You having sleep issues (too much or too little). These are some symptoms of depression. There could be more sympotms as well. Depression sometimes goes hand and hand with anxiety. You could be experiencing a depressive episode and counseling could help.
Or you ever feel unsafe to the extend that you are a harm to yourself. If any of these are true, you should reach out for professional help to get through this episode of depression.

Depression isn’t about something that you have done wrong, but it is simply something that you are dealing with just like any medical issue. You do not have depression because you did something wrong and it is not a failing of moral character. As soon as you can understand that it is not something that you deserve, then we can break the cycle of depression that you are struggling with.

Or you can call 911 and asking for a CIT (crisis intervention trained) officer to come help you. You reaching out for help is a sign of strength not weakness, and you matter!

LGBTQ+ experience depression at higher rates
Sixty percent of LGBTQ+ individuals have reported symptoms of depression according to a 2015 Youth Risk Behavior Survey. There are many reasons that LGBTQ+ individuals experience depression at a higher rate including lack of a supportive environment. On a macro scale this is part of a larger effect that homophobia has on LGBTQ+ individuals.
