For the past few years, the therapists at Orlando Counseling and Therapy Group have provided services to those who have driven from over two and a half hours away to have an LGBT competent therapist. Orlando Counseling and Therapy Group has been providing online counseling to clients with issues that require online sessions for years. But now we are happy to offer it to all of our clients regardless of issue. And the online counseling is open to the entire state of Florida.

Counseling online is different in that you and your counselor do lose some signs conveyed by body language. Also, internet connectivity can be an issue. This is why we suggest using a laptop or phone connected to a strong wifi signal. Hardwired internet connections are always the best. Yes, it has been found to be just as effective as traditional talk therapy. All of our client that have been using online therapy during the COVID-19 pandemic. Also, most of our clients reported liking it almost as much. And in some cases liked the convenience of it more.
