Are you an LGBT parent or supportive family member? It is difficult to know how to properly support our child / loved one. How do we help them with acceptance? While dealing with our own process of acceptance? As an LGBT parent we know how to show them that we love them. But sometimes we don’t know how to help in the ways that they need.
Orlando Counseling and Therapy Group has been working with the LGBT community for years and have an in-depth understanding of LGBT issues. Coming out is difficult for them. Dealing with internalized homophobia also a difficult complication of their process. Navigating all of these unique issues will be difficult for you loved. But they will get through this, because they have your support.
