Orlando Counseling and Therapy Group provides out-patient counseling services only. We can provide a welcoming, non-judgmental environment for you to self reflect in your therapeutic process. Also, there may be different community resources that can be helpful for you. Inpatient treatment programs, peer led support groups, and community centers. Detox and Substance Recovery Treatment
It is a difficult decision to enroll in an inpatient substance recovery treatment programs. However, it can be the best decision that you can make to improve your life. For instance, detox is needed if someone is addicted to any of the following substances alcohol, opiates (Hydrocodone, Oxycodon, or Fentanyl), and/or benzodiazepines (Xanax, Ativan, or Klonipin). If you quit taking these substances without a medical detox, one could have a seizure and die. If you or someone you love is dealing with an addiction. And are not able to maintain sobriety enough to participate in outpatient treatment. Here are some local inpatient treatment.

Psychiatric Inpatient Programs
If your are in an acute mental health crisis and are not stabilized on your medication. Inpatient programs could be needed before reaching out to an outpatient provider such as Orlando Counseling and Therapy Group. When symptoms are so severe that weekly outpatient therapy is not enough to manage, inpatient treatment may be needed.

Support Groups
Sitting with peers and exploring you thoughts and feelings can be a powerful tool. First, support groups provide a unique experience that can be helpful while going through counseling. Second, they can give you a sense of not being alone. There are many support groups in the Central Florida area.
Peer Support Space – A grass-roots organization that led by and for those in recovery from mental illness, substance abuse, trauma, and more.
NAMI Orlando – National Alliance on Mental Illness in Orlando. Support groups with many different mental health issues.
The LGBTQ+ Center support groups – Peer led groups at the LGBTQ+ Center in Central Florida. Including AA, NA, CODA, many LGBTQ+ social groups.
LGBTQ+ Senior O.W.L. (Older, Wiser, and Learning) – Senior (45+) social group for LGBTQ+ folks.
